Nikon D700 DSLR

One of Nikon's most successful professional cameras ever produced.  The D700 draws on the technology of the D3's superb 12.1 megapixel sensor, a competent 51-point AF system and superb ISO performance.  The D700 continues to be the tool of choice for many pro shooters for all types of photography.

When the Nikon D3 was released in 2007 it didn't take long for Nikon to announce the D700.  With nearly all of the features from the incredible D3 at half the price, the D700 became the first full frame Nikon DSLR at an affordable cost.  The D700 is equally at home shooting weddings as it is in the studio.  The 12.1 MP file size struck the perfect balance between resolution and and high ISO performance.  ISO's of 1600, 3200, even 6400 became possible for everyday capture.  Noise levels were far beyond what any camera was capable of at the time.

Now discontinued by Nikon, the D700's spiritual successors are split into two cameras, the D600 & D800.  We have limited stock on the D700s so be sure to place your order early!
