Nikon 24-120mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR II
This lens is really darn sharp and extremely diverse. True, at a nice constant f/4, it's not a really fast lens but it may be plenty fast for what you need it for. On a full frame camera, it makes a great walk-around lens and the VR will certainly help in those low light situations. It's also a great choice for studio shooters.
