Nikon 1.7x TC II Converter

A teleconverter is a great way to get some extra reach out of a lens.  In this case, it increase the reach of the lens by 70%.  However, it does come at a price in the form of 1.5 less light or a stop and half less.  So it turns an f/2.8 lens into roughly f/4.7.  If that's a tradeoff you can live with, then this is a great option.  Also, please keep in mind that not all lenses are compatible with teleconverters.
