Canon 300 f/2.8L IS II
Canon's new 300 f/2.8 IS II replaces one of their sharpest lenses ever. Once you hold the lens, you'll understand why Canon decided to improve upon a good thing. The new lens is significantly lighter than the previous version, making this one easily hand-holdable. Honestly, when you first pick it up, it will feel fake; it almost feels empty. They have reduced chromatic abberation (highlight fringing) and removed a lot of vignetting, particularly wide open. Canon also introduced a thrid IS mode which only operates the instant the shutter is fully pressed so you can get the 4-stop IS benefits without all the camera battery drain. This lens is great for football or auto-racing.
PLEASE NOTE:
Unlike our other lenses, the super telephoto lenses will be shipped in Tenba soft cases which can be used to transport the lens during your rental period.
